Don't let the cool name fool you.
So, either because of our constant mockery of God, or our tendency to live the high life, or for some factor as yet unknown, we have become quite familiar with the condition known as vertigo.
We are going to switch tenses now, do not be alarmed.
All my life I've heard the word vertigo and my only thought has been that it sounds like something you'd want to have.
You don't.
I have been experiencing vertigo for three days and the way I can best describe it is that feeling you get when you just get off a roller coaster, not falling-down dizzy, but kinda woozy nonetheless.
It's also very close to stage fright in that it's disconcerting, but not debilitating.
Sorry to complain, but I thought maybe someone who reads this might have had vertigo before and can tell me what they did for it. I've spoken to my doctor and she says since it's not inherently dangerous we should take the "wait and see" approach before jumping into the expensive battery of tests and procedures to find out what's really going on.
I'm starting to think that maybe I should buck the national trend and get myself some health insurance...
Oh well, on a lighter note, I had a dream last night where I made the newspaper for being the first man on earth to be beaten up by a dolphin.
